School ager
with abdominal pain. Axial CT with contrast of the abdomen (left) shows a large cystic mass arising from the inferior aspect of the head of the pancreas which is better appreciated on the coronal CT (right) which also demonstrates a claw sign around the mass. There is no evidence of pancreatitis.The diagnosis was solid pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas which was necrotic.
