Bland-Altman analysis
Bland-Altman analysis is a method for comparing two methods of measurement of a continuous variable by plotting them in a specific way (a Bland-Atman plot). Outside of medicine a such a plot is often referred to as a Tukey mean difference plot. Continuous variables which could technically be considered discrete variables e.g. blood pressure or age in years can also be analyzed by this method as well. In typical analyzes the results are visualized as a plot in which the mean of two measures (created by the methods compared) are plotted on the x-axis and the different between them is plotted on the y-axis.
