Dermatom (Anatomie)
Diagram of
the distribution of the cutaneous branches of the posterior divisions of the spinal nerves.

Dermatomes
and major cutaneous nerves in a dorsal (posterior) view. The original names were given as abbreviations of sometimes obsolete terms, and this has given some uncertainty whether the names refer to the accurate cutaneous nerves regarding the nerves on the upper arm, so if an error here is detected, please make a comment on the talk page or edit it directly. For more detailed images on the upper arm, see File:Gray812and814.svg for areas of innervation, and File:Gray811and813.PNG for courses of the nerves.
The cutaneous
innervation of the right upper limb. Both areas supplied by the medial brachial cutaneous are colored green. The areas supplied by branches of the radial nerve are colored in pink.
