EBV-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, NOS (not otherwise specified) is one of the immunodeficiency-associated CNS lymphomas, usually seen in elderly individuals. Unlike other EBV-associated CNS lymphomas, these individuals do not have a defined cause for immunosuppression. It is believed that these are due to age-related immune system depression (a.k.a immunosenescence) .
