in der PICA endende A. vertebralis links: MRT Time-of-Flight-Sequenz, links 3 Schichten axial; rechts oben Darstellung als MIP, unten als Volumen Rendering. Die rechte A. vertebralis ist (typisch für die PICA-ending Vertebralis links) deutlich kaliberstärker elongiert. Sie reicht bis auf die linke Seite übrigen Mittellinie hinaus. Die linke A. vertebralis läuft beim Eintritt in den Schädel zu 2 Anteilen auseinander und vereinigt sich wieder zur PICA.
