Focal calvarial thinning
Focal calvarial thinning can result from a number of causes. They include:
- bilateral thinning of the parietal bones (normal variant) most common
- arachnoid cyst
- mega cisterna magna
- peripherally located tumors (e.g. oligodendroglioma)
