Primary
myelofibrosis: spectrum of imaging features and disease-related complications. Sagittal T1 (a) and T2 (b) MRI of the lumbar spine in a normal patient demonstrating normal marrow appearances. The vertebrae are homogenous, and the intervertebral disks are hypointense relative to the marrow. In contrast, the marrow signal in myelofibrosis appears markedly hypointense on both T1 (c) and T2 (d). The intervertebral disks also appear hyperintense relative to the marrow signal
