Coronal (a) and sagittal (b) non-saturated proton density-weighted images, and axial T2-weighted image (c) show a multifibrillar structure, isointense to muscle in all sequences, in the expected location of the medial patellofemoral ligament, compatible with a supernumerary medial patellofemoral muscle.
