placental chorioangiomatosis

Placental chorioangiomatosis is an extremely rare condition where numerous placental chorioangiomas involve the placenta. The individual chorioangiomas can be of varying size.

Complications

Recognized complications include

• precipitation of fetal hydrops
• fetal anemia
• fetal cerebral emboli
