seltene Schilddrüsentumoren
Primary
thyroid chondrosarcoma: a case report of an extremely rare malignancy. Post-contrast neck and upper chest CT axial (A, B) and coronal images (C). Heterogenous enhancing right thyroid lobe soft tissue mass with coarse calcification is seen displacing the airway to the contralateral side and extending down to the superior mediastinum abutting the aortic arch branches with clear fat plane in-between. It was seen also contacting the right CCA along its length without vascular invasion (arrows). No pathological cervical LNs
Squamous cell
carcinoma of the uterine cervix metastasising to the thyroid gland: a case report. Consecutive axial views of the contrast enhanced computed tomography of the neck showing multiple low-density thyroid nodules (yellow arrows), a mixed density mass lesion in the lower pole of the left thyroid lobe (green arrow) and multiple deep cervical lymph nodes (lower jugular and paratracheal) (red arrows)
Epithelioid
hemangioendothelioma of the thyroid: a case report. Characteristics of the thyroid nodule. Computed tomography scan showing the right thyroid nodule with calcification (arrow) (a). The nodule is enhanced and shows no signs of extrathyroidal invasion (arrow) (b). Ultrasonogram showing the right thyroid nodule (21 mm in diameter) with calcification (arrow) (c). Macroscopically, a well-circumscribed mass in the right lobe of the thyroid is observed (d)
ALK-1-positive
inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the thyroid complicated by Hashimoto’s thyroiditis: report of a rare case and a literature review. Echographic examination revealed a hypoechoic mass of with clear boundary (The arrow)
