Typen Pulmonalarterienstenose
Toddler with
respiratory distress and a cardiac murmur. CXR AP shows markedly decreased pulmonary vascularity in the left lung when compared to the right lung. The lungs are clear.The diagnosis was peripheral pulmonary stenosis due to left pulmonary artery stenosis.
A pulmonary arterial stenosis can be classified into several types :
- type I: involving main pulmonary artery
- type II: involving bifurcation
- type III: multiple peripheral stenoses
- type IV: central and peripheral stenoses
