newborn with respiratory distress. CXR AP (above) shows increased lucency in the upper abdomen. Left lateral decubitus AXR (below) shows a large amount of free air between the abdominal wall and the liver.The diagnosis was pneumoperitoneum due to spontaneous intestinal perforation.
