lower extremity neuropathy
Lower extremity neuropathy result from compression or damage to one or more nerves. Several syndromes have been described:
- piriformis syndrome: the sciatic nerve is compressed by the piriformis muscle as the nerve passes through the greater sciatic foramen
- femoral nerve neuropathy
- obturator nerve neuropathy
