with long standing dysphagia and no other significant history. AP (left) and lateral (right) images from an upper GI exam show a fixed, smoothly tapered, concentric, long narrowing of the esophageal lumen of the mid to distal esophagus.The diagnosis was congenital esophageal stenosis.
