Placental tumors

There are many tumors that can involve the placenta.

These can be of  very different pathology and can include

• placental chorioangioma (considered the most common primary tumor of the placenta )
  • placental chorioangiomatosis
• placental teratoma
• placental metastases
• placental site trophoblastic tumor
