Adenosquamous carcinoma of the endometrium

Adenosquamous carcinoma of the endometrium is a rare histological subtype of endometrial cancer.

In general, it occurs in a slightly younger group when compared with pure adenocarcinoma of the endometrium .

It contains both malignant glandular and malignant squamous components. Adenosquamous carcinoma tended to be slightly higher grade at presentation when compared to pure adenocarcinoma of the endometrium .
