Mnemonic
- I: inferior rectus
- M: medial rectus
- S: superior rectus
- L: lateral rectus
- O: obliques muscles (superior oblique and inferior oblique)
There is some debate about this however. Some claim superior rectus is most frequent , but the mnemonic "SIMLOW" is not as memorable.
