Hockey stick sign (thyroid hemiagenesis)

Hockey stick sign has been used to describe the appearance of the thyroid gland in cases of thyroid hemiagenesis when investigated with thyroid scan (Tc-99m)​ . The unilateral lobe and isthmus make a shape reminiscent of a hockey stick.
