Laryngeal saccule
The laryngeal saccule is a mucosa-lined pouch that arises from the anterior aspect of the roof of the laryngeal ventricle. It is most prominent in newborns but involutes during childhood.

- medial: false vocal cords
- lateral: thyroid cartilage
