bilious residuals from the nasogastric tube. AXR AP shows the tip of the nasogastric tube to be transpyloric in position, in the first part of the duodenum.The diagnosis was malposition of the nasogastric tube tip in the duodenum, clinically mimicking malrotation with midgut volvulus.
