multilobar pneumonia

Multilobar pneumonia, as the name suggests, is a lobar pneumonia affecting multiple lobes. Patients with community-acquired multilobar pneumonia have a worse prognosis with longer admissions, more need for ventilatory support and more frequent treatment failure .
