neuroendocrine tumours of the lung
Pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors are a group of lung tumors which are of neuroendocrine cell lineage. These are thought to arise from Kulchitzky cells and range from being low to high grade.
These include:
- carcinoid tumors of the lung
- bronchial carcinoid tumors
- typical bronchial carcinoids
- atypical bronchial carcinoids
- peripheral pulmonary carcinoid tumors
- bronchial carcinoid tumors
- large cell neuroendocrine cell carcinoma of lung
- small cell lung cancer
