parahippocampal gyrus

The parahippocampal gyrus is a cortical ridge in mesial temporal lobe, located superior to the tentorium.

It covers the hippocampus and uncus medially, and amygdala anteromedially. Inferolaterally it is bounded by the collateral sulcus.
