Artery to the ductus deferens
The artery to the ductus deferens (deferential or vesiculodeferential artery) is a branch of the superior vesical artery, which in turns arises from the internal iliac artery via the umbilical artery.
Gross anatomy

- main branch: no named branches
- course: accompanies the ductus deferens to the testis within the spermatic cord
- termination: forms an anastamosis with the testicular artery
- supply: ductus deferens and seminal vesicle
Variant anatomy
- may be a branch of the inferior vesical artery or umbilical artery
- may supply the ureter via a small branch
