central bronchiectasis
Distribution of bronchiectasis can help in narrowing the differential diagnosis. Central bronchiectasis is typically seen in:
- allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA)
- congenital tracheobronchomegaly (a.k.a. Mounier Kuhn syndrome)
- cystic fibrosis
- Williams Campbell syndrome (rare)
