L sign (brain)
The L sign is one of the features useful in identifying the central sulcus on cross-sectional imaging.
On axial images, the superior frontal gyrus at its posterior aspect meets the precentral gyrus in an "L" configuration (forwards on the left, backwards on the right). The central sulcus is the next posterior sulcus .
