Shifting granuloma sign

Shifting granuloma sign refers to a shift in the location of a parenchymal lesion visible on prior films that may be seen in the presence of atelectasis.

For example, this occurs when a calcified granuloma is present in a lung and a significant parenchymal collapse "shifts" it from one location to another.
