juvenile osteoporosis
Juvenile osteoporosis refers to osteoporosis occurring in children.
Pathology
Etiology
It can arise from a number of causes :
- primary conditions
- secondary conditions
- secondary to chronic inflammation
- secondary to glucocorticoid therapy
- from prolonged immobilization (disuse osteopenia)
- unknown
- idiopathic juvenile osteoporosis
