Gross Anatomy
Relations
- medial: uvula of the vermis
- superior: flocculonodular lobe
- anterior: posterior surface of the medulla and the cerebellomedullary fissure
- posteroinferior: cisterna magna
Blood Supply
Arterial blood supply to the cerebellar tonsils is through an anastomosis of branches from the anterior inferior cerebellar and posterior inferior cerebellar arteries .
