  • os subtibiale
  • os tibiale externum
  • os trigonum
  • os calcaneus secundaris
  • os intermetatarseum

  • hallux sesamoid
    • multipartite hallux sesamoid
  • os supranaviculare
  • os vesalianum

Practical points

Although accessory ossicles are often reported as 'normal anatomic variants' (or similar) it is important to recognize that they are not always just an incidental pick-up but may be the source of the patient's symptoms.
