Pleural pseudoplaques

A pleural pseudoplaque refers to a plaque like pulmonary opacity which contiguous with the visceral pleura formed by coalescent small nodules. It can mimic the appearance of a pleural plaque. Pseudoplaques are thought to be most commonly seen in association with sarcoidosis, silicosis, and coal-worker's pneumoconiosis.
