expansive Knochenmetastasen
Blow out bone metastases or expansile bone metastases are typically only encountered in a relatively small number of primary malignancies, including :
- renal cell carcinoma
- thyroid cancer
- hepatocellular carcinoma
- pheochromocytoma
- melanoma
- gastric carcinoma
Occasionally the sclerotic metastases of prostate cancer may also be expansile and closely mimic Paget disease of bone .
