Increased hepatic echogenicity
Causes of generalized increase in hepatic echogenicity include:
- diffuse fatty change
- cirrhosis: and/or coarsening
- chronic hepatitis : and/or coarsening
- diffuse infiltration or deposition
- malignant process
- granulomata
- glycogen storage disease
- hemochromatosis
