Intrinsic muscles of the hand
The intrinsic muscles of the hand (also known as the small (or short) muscles of the hand) is a term used to refer to those muscles of the hand that structurally are wholly within the hand:
- palmaris brevis muscle
- lumbrical muscles
- palmar interossei muscles
- dorsal interossei muscles
- short muscles of the thumb
- short muscles of the little finger
- accessory muscles
