Uterine enlargement can occur in a number of situations from both diffuse and focal processes. These include:

other neoplastic conditions
- uterine lymphoma
- metastases to the uterus
adenomyosis: a common cause
- diffuse adenomyosis
- uterine adenomyoma
dilatation of the uterine cavity or contents within the uterine cavity - can occur for some reasons and can cause
vascular causes
- uterine arteriovenous malformations
- pelvic congestion syndrome
