Intraconal orbital lesions
Intraorbitale
Metastase bei Mammakarzinom. Bei der Patientin waren multiple andere Metastasen ossär, pulmonal und hepatisch vorhanden.

Intraconal
schwannoma: a rare case. The lesion appears slightly hyperintense in T2 Fat Suppressed images too.
Intraconal
schwannoma: a rare case. Axial T1-weighted MR image confirms the presence of a well circumscribed hypointense mass.

OCULAR ADNEXA: PILOCYTIC ASTROCYTOMA Magnetic resonance image of a large retrobulbar optic nerve tumor causing massive proptosis.
Intraconal orbital lesions are broadly divided into two main groups; those with or without involvement of the optic nerves:
Lesions with optic nerve involvement:
- optic nerve glioma
- optic nerve schwannoma
- optic nerve meningioma
- optic neuritis
- pseudotumor
- lymphoma and leukemia
- intracranial hypertension
- retinoblastoma
Lesions without optic nerve involvement:
- cavernous hemangioma: also known as slow flow venous malformation; most common orbital vascular lesion, usually in lateral intraconal space
- capillary hemangioma
- orbital varix
- arteriovenous malformation
- retro-orbital hematoma
- lymphangioma
- schwannoma
- sarcoidosis
- Erdheim-Chester Disease
- coloboma
- metastasis: breast cancer, melanoma, etc.
- melanoma: primary or metastasis
