Knee radiograph (checklist)
The knee radiograph checklist is just one of the many pathology checklists that can be used when reporting to ensure that you always actively exclude pathology that is commonly missed; this is particularly helpful in the examination setting, e.g. the FRCR 2B rapid-reporting.
Radiograph
Knee radiographs in an exam setting will have been primarily performed because of a history of pain or trauma.
Knee joint/ capsule

- lipohemarthrosis
- pseudogout
- synovial chondromatosis
- septic arthritis
- haemophilic arthropathy
- rheumatoid arthritis
- osteoarthritis
Distal femur
- osteochondral lesion (OCL)
- bone infarct/ avascular necrosis
- non-ossifying fibroma/ fibrous cortical defect
- osteochondroma
- hypertrophic osteoarthropathy
- Ewing's sarcoma
- osteosarcoma
Proximal tibia
- Segond fracture
- reverse Segond fracture
- Pellegrini Stieda lesion
