Umbilical folds
The umbilical folds are a series of 5 folds of parietal peritoneum on the deep surface of the anterior abdominal wall and consist of:
- a single midline median umbilical fold,
- bilateral medial umbilical folds, and
- bilateral lateral umbilical folds
